Cette peinture est née d'une mémoire sensorielle — le son de la musique des années 80 résonnant dans les ruelles étroites de Lisbonne, où chaque recoin semble vibrer de nostalgie et d'une vie intense et colorée. Le cœur, aux dégradés lumineux d'orange et de jaune, est intentionnellement entouré d'un contour rugueux et tridimensionnel construit à la pâte à modeler — un clin d'œil tactile à la texture et à la résilience de la ville elle-même. Ce n'est pas une forme nette et lisse ; elle est usée, patinée, rayonnante — comme Lisbonne.
L'utilisation de couleurs fluorescentes est une référence directe à l'atmosphère baignée de néons qu'évoque la musique et à l'architecture dorée par le soleil. En bas, le mot « Kindness » est peint à la main dans un style graffiti joueur, inspiré des innombrables fresques et tags qui couvrent les murs de Lisbonne de messages d'amour, de résistance et d'espoir. Ce petit cœur niché au-dessus du « K » — ce n'est pas un ornement. C'est une déclaration.
Cette œuvre est à la fois un hommage et une traduction — de la façon dont le son et la couleur d'une ville peuvent embraser le langage de l'art.

Travel Memories est une série portée par le cœur, qui capture l'empreinte émotionnelle et sensorielle des lieux que j'ai traversés. Ces peintures ne parlent pas de monuments ou de cartes, mais du ressenti d'une ville — la lumière qui effleure la peau, la musique qui s'échappe des fenêtres ouvertes, les couleurs qui persistent longtemps dans l'esprit après qu'on est parti. La texture évoque le grain, les dégradés fredonnent une mélodie, et le cœur ancre le tout dans un langage qui dépasse les mots. Chaque toile est une distillation d'atmosphère, un souvenir peint non pas avec exactitude, mais avec émotion. Culture, rythme, parfum, son — tout se fond en une expression vivante du lien. C'est ainsi que je me souviens : non pas par ce que j'ai vu, mais par ce que cela m'a fait ressentir.

Important shipping information
In Belgium and Luxemburg, all original artwork is hand-delivered by me or someone I trust within 2-3 days from purchase.
I use Fedex to ship your original artwork across Europe and North America. The package is insured and declared to customs for its full retail value to avoid any surprises.
For North America I use Fedex International Economy. Fedex delivers in 5 - 7 days, unless there is a customs hold. Fedex is also the customs broker for the shipment to simplify tracking and information.
In Europe, I use Fedex Regional Economy. Your package arrives in just about 5 days.
For these particular high value products, I always require a signature upon delivery.
TAKE PICTURES of the package as you sign for it. Refuse it if it is obviously damaged. Those pictures are essential to make an insurance claim for damage during transport. I cannot help you without proper documentation. I cannot make this more clear.

Certificate of authenticity
Each original artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity containing verifiable information to authenticate your product. It contains a serial number, fingerprints and hand-written information that must match between the certificate and the artwork.
I keep a copy of every certificate to validate one of my artworks at any time and you can request my validation should you one day believe to have found a forgery.
Packaging details
I build colorful wooden crates for original artwork. As much as it is special to you, it is very special to me. They are all handmade by me with thick sides and reinforcements for corners and large surfaces.
I wanted to build a crate that you would want to keep and one that will serve you well should you want to move or resell your product later on.
It takes about 2 days to make given the use of glues and paint. Make sure to account for that time for when you expect your delivery.
Returns
This is a unique original product. There is only one in the world. It cannot be replaced or exchanged.
That said, my intent is for you to be fully happy with your purchase and I will do everything I can to make that happen. You can return any original artwork following the process below:
- Because of its high and unique value and because it can lose value when opened for various reasons, it can only be returned if it is still in its original transparent wrapping. The crate can be opened, but it will have to be resealed with the original screws.
- You have 3 days from the time of delivery to notify us of your intent to return the product.
- You then have 5 days to drop the item with Fedex using the same service, insuring the shipment to the same full retail amount that it was shipped to you with. Require a signature.
- The crate must be water-resistantly wrapped as it was when shipped to you, or any similar process. It is your responsibility to make sure the product is undamaged when it arrives back in the studio.
- I will personally verify the shipment and the product upon arrival and take pictures. I will then inspect it and send you a refund within 3 days.
