A heart on every wall

A heart on every wall

I want to see hearts on every wall in the world.

It's a big wish, I know. But behind it is something quite simple: I want more of us to have a small, everyday reminder to be kind. To notice each other. To remember that the person in front of us has a whole life going on, much of which we know nothing about.

That wish is behind the launch of my limited edition prints at Hearts & Colors. They're a way to bring my art into more homes, at a price that's within reach of more people.

A little reminder, in an ordinary day

I like to think about where a heart might end up. Beside a kitchen table where people catch up after work. In a hallway you pass through every morning. On a wall you look towards when you need a moment to yourself.

Those are the places where I want my art to live. Close to people, in the middle of their days.

A picture on a wall can't do the caring for us. We still have to listen, make time, and find a little patience when it would be easier not to. But I hope a heart can sometimes bring us back to that. Something we see often enough that we carry the thought with us when we leave the room.

More homes for the hearts

An original painting can only live in one place. Prints let the same heart become part of several people's lives. And for someone who loves a work but can't stretch to the original, they offer another way to have it at home.

I'm beginning with four works: Heartflare, Speed of Light, Barcelona Part 1 and American Experiment pt.1.

These are prints of my original artworks, made by Colorfields in Belgium on Fine Art Canson rag cotton paper. Each one is numbered, signed by me, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

“Limited edition” means there is a fixed number of prints in the series. Heartflare has an edition of 12; the other three have editions of 20. Your number identifies your print within that edition, and my signature is on the print itself.

I want opening one to feel personal. I want you to find a place for it, make it part of your home, and enjoy seeing it there for years to come.

Making my art more accessible matters to me because I want these reminders to reach more and more people. I hope the hearts give someone a reason to smile, to check in on a friend, or to be a little gentler with a person who's having a hard day.

There is a long way between four editions and a heart on every wall. I'm happy to take this step, and I'm glad you're here for it.

Come meet the first four limited editions.
