Heart Between Us

After a while I realized that the way I used to work was a bit more archaic than what I'm able to do today. I guess every artist goes through that. In this instance, I finished this painting some time ago before I could picture it in context and before I had a studio to properly photograph my creations. So it is natural that, from time to time, I go back and update a painting in my portfolio.

This piece was created around Valentine’s Day last year (2025). I was imagining how to capture two hearts fusing to create something greater than the sum of their parts. I worked with gold paint to suggest that fusion. Leave me a note if you would like to know more or see it in person.
