There's a moment — you know it — when something grabs hold of you so completely that you can't tell anymore whether you're moving or being moved. That's what I painted here. A heart, red and burning, caught at the edge of a swirling blue force. The storm doesn't ask permission. It simply arrives, and everything you thought was settled gets pulled into its spiral. And yet — look at that heart. It's not broken. It's airborne. I wanted the yellow to carry the heat of the season, that bright, almost aggressive optimism of spring, while the blue vortex cuts right through it. Wrath Of Time is about the storms we don't choose, and the strange, wild freedom of being swept up anyway.
