There are symbols so old they've almost lost their meaning — and then you actually paint one, and you feel why it stuck around for thousands of years. This is Peace and Dove, a study that surprised me with its own quiet insistence. The white bird rises through a soft, cloud-washed sky, an olive branch held forward like an offering, not a trophy. I kept the strokes loose, almost ethereal — I wanted the dove to feel like it was dissolving into the light, becoming part of it rather than just flying through it. Sometimes the oldest ideas are the ones most worth saying again. Loudly. Tenderly. Without irony.
