Meet Patricks — yes, plural, because one starfish was never going to be enough. This little piece came from the most honest place: pure play. I had Patrick from SpongeBob on the brain, that loveable, pink, gloriously clueless starfish, and somewhere between a laugh and a brushstroke, he became a constellation of red stars scattered across a deep night-blue canvas. The heart in the center is all energy — white, loose, almost vibrating — flanked by motion lines like it just landed or is about to launch. An animated love symbol, exactly as I intended. No overthinking. Just joy doing its thing at full speed.
