Nesøya holds a particular kind of silence — the kind that actually speaks. This is the view from my room in our house in Norway, and I keep coming back to it the way you return to a sentence that means more each time you read it. There is something about that light over the water, the way the landscape just sits with itself, unhurried, that resets something in me. I made this piece for Spring Renewal because that is exactly what this place does — it renews. No drama required. Just presence, and the quiet insistence that beauty is still very much here.
