Barcelona lives in me the way a song you once heard in a sun-drenched alley never quite leaves. This is Barcelona pt.1 — a love letter to a city that builds beauty into its very bones. At the center, a small red heart pulses with life, and from it, rays of color burst outward like light through a cathedral window, each wedge a different hue, a different memory, a different voice from those winding streets. The four corners hold clusters of broken, scattered tiles — Gaudí's language, the art of the fragment that somehow forms the whole. I wanted to capture that particular magic: the way mosaic makes sense of chaos, the way Barcelona itself feels like it shouldn't work and yet is absolutely, completely alive. The sandy, warm background holds it all together like old stone in afternoon light. This one is meant to be seen in public, where people pass and pause — which feels exactly right for a city that has always performed its beauty without apology.
