This one is for her — my goddaughter — and it had to feel right. Big, warm, unapologetic pink. The heart cuts boldly across the canvas, cropped and confident, as if it's too full to be contained by the frame. Then 2026 crashes in — red, blocky, straight out of the decade that never apologized for anything — announcing a year that hasn't happened yet, already full of promise. There's something I love about painting the future into existence. This small canvas holds a big wish: that she steps into it with her whole heart, loud and bright and ready.
