A new year doesn't announce itself with fanfare — it arrives quietly, like a sailboat cutting through deep blue water under an open sky. This is 2025, written in gold across the horizon, the last digit trailing off into a heart-shaped balloon lifting gently into the air. Somewhere above it all, a single white star holds its position — steady, patient, true. I wanted to paint the feeling of turning a page. That mix of not-quite-knowing and still-going. The boat is small but it's moving. The star is far but it's there. And the heart, as always, is right in the middle of it — floating up to meet whatever comes next. Here's to 2025.
