I’m Sam Grudge, a self-taught painter and lifelong creator. Art is the latest chapter in a life that’s been anything but predictable—I’ve reinvented myself and my career four times so far. I haven’t followed a traditional path, but I’ve always followed my curiosity and drive to build, learn, and bring people together.
My work centers on hearts—oversized, unapologetic symbols of connection, hope, and care. My mission is simple: cover the world in hearts and create spaces where people can live with less anxiety, less stress, and more humanity. I’m not chasing trends or trying to impress the art world. I’m building something honest, inclusive, and bigger than myself.
I know firsthand what it’s like to struggle with anxiety and depression. That’s not something I hide—it’s part of my story, and it’s why I speak openly about mental health at work and online. My art is one answer to a world that too often stigmatizes what should be human conversations. We can do better. We have to do better.
The Sam Grudge Hearts & Colors Foundation will be my next step. This foundation will manage my artistic legacy and help fund projects that promote Humanity, Respect, and Care—because real change is a group effort.
My vision is to grow a network where artists join to grow a collective movement that will support generations of new unbroken humans. My dream is to build that community—with you maybe?
If you believe art can heal, connect, and empower, you’re welcome here. Let’s see how much good we can do—together.
